1. Lorne Michaels


Lorne Michaels is known in the Canadian and also American communities and is famous for creating Saturday Night Live.

Michaels is not considered an actor or even a comedian but he is well-known and loved in the comedy genre for creating the longest lasting and running comedic show.

He has produced several movies which were considered spin offs including Wayne’s World, Superstar, and Night at the Roxbury.

2. Seth Rogen


Seth Rogen is a Canadian comedian who is well-loved and began his career on a television show known as Freaks and Geeks.

He is the youngest comedian on this list and has also played humorous roles in movies such as Knocked Up, Superbad and Pineapple Express.
